Victor Osimhen’s Transfer: Frustration in Napoli and Chelsea

Victor Osimhen

One thing is clear. Napoli want to sell Victor Osimhen. Chelsea want to offload Romelu Lukaku too.

Unfortunately, none of this has happened yet.

How is this a frustration to Chelsea and Napoli?

The gist is that Napoli is desperate to see Osimhen leave so they can start a move to sign Romelu Lukaku, whom they’re convinced is the ideal replacement.

On the other hand, Romelu is waiting for Napoli to make him an offer, as he is interested in rejoining his former boss, Antonio Conte, at Napoli.

At the same time, Chelease want Romelu to go.

So, the major issue here is that Victor has to be sold first before Napoli goes for his replacement, Romelu, which will then allow Chelsea to sell him(Romelu).

Are there no offers for Victor Osimhen?

The Nigerian star has no concrete offers, which is the real problem.

However, it seemed like Osimhen was practically packing his bags for Paris Saint-Germain not long ago to replace Mbappe, but things didn’t turn out well.

Along the line, PSG think the €130 million for Osimhen is too much. This sudden decision made everything worse for Osimhen, Napoli and Chelsea.

This is not just a minor hiccup for Napoli, as they were relying on that money, or at least €100 million  , from selling Osimhen to buy other players they were interested in.

As it stands, Chelsea, Romelu, and Napoli are all waiting to sell Victor to determine their next move.

How long is the wait?

I don’t know how long this wait will be!

However, just in case you don’t know, Chelsea is ready to sell Lukaku for €40 million to Napoli

But then, Victor has to be sold first!!

How long will Chelsea wait? It is not as if there are no other clubs interested in Romelu.

What if Romelu can’t wait anymore and decides to join other clubs at the expense of joining his former Boss?

Aston Villa is interested and has an agreement ready to go, but  Lukaku does not seem to fancy the club at the moment.

And waiting continues… Much to Chelsea’s increasing irritation.

In short, this whole transfer market mess boils down to nobody wanting poor Osimhen enough, leaving both Napoli and Chelsea stuck in this frustrating situation.

In the days to come, we will find out how it goes!
